Ripley Neck is one of many peninsulas in Downeast Maine. It is between the Harrington and Pleasant Rivers and is part of Harrington, Maine. Our summer home, Wabi Sabi Farm, is there and I wanted to share some of the area's beauty.

We visited Ripley Neck yesterday and discovered its charm and beauty. We rode all the way to the end of the road that goes past the town boat landing where there is a cluster of cottages. What a glorious place! I found your photos while doing a search to find out a little more about the area as I blog about Maine and wanted to do a post about our adventure. I am going to share a link to your blog and photos in my post. You are very lucky to have your little piece of paradise!
ReplyDeleteMy husband spent his summers on Ripley Neck as a child and young man. His parents bought a house on the Point (Sorensons own it now) using his paper route money (under $3,000). After we married, we bought land further downeast and after a few summers, moved there permanently. We are on Crows Neck near Lubec and have lived here for 45 years and haven't regretted it for a minute. Ripley Neck began it all.
