Florida's Spanish Bayonet (Yucca alofolia) is a beautiful native plant. Here with a lovely white blossom.
Often cultivated as an ornamental, I found this one at the edge of a brackish mangrove canal. Can grow up to 15 feet tall and the leaves have a sharp spike....ergo the common name.
Also a Spanish Bayonet, but not for your garden... for the business end of a Mauser rifle!
Such a beautiful blossom....hope it lasts all spring.
